I typically recommend a 1-hr session every 1-2 weeks, but will adjust based on your needs and the topic at hand.
There is no minimum length engagement, you have total autonomy on duration and frequency. I recommend considering 6 months as a minimum initial engagement, but this is just a suggestion. Sessions are typically via Zoom, and can be conducted live for folks who live in the NY Metro area.
I focus on three areas – sales, startup executives and leadership.
- Sales – Folks deeply engaged in the art of selling understand the loneliness and rejection that comes with the job. Whether you are in a rut or simply looking to maximize performance, I will work with you on stress management, sales techniques, working with others, handling objections and problem solving.
- Startup Executives – Quite possibly the most stressful and loneliest job ever created is that of the startup founder and startup leadership. Everybody is looking to you for answers, but you’re charting new waters, and there is no map or instruction manual. The most important thing startup execs need is somebody simply to talk through the challenges of the day, week and year. I’ll be an empathetic ear (I’ve been there!) and also work with you on stress management, prioritization, optimizing your team, crafting and honing business and technical strategies, problem solving, and working through issues with your co-founders, board and leadership team.
- Leadership – People that lead teams have an important and challenging role. You are being asked to make the most out of the folks that report to you (and ensure they have all the tools they need to be successful), while at the same time delivering what you’ve promised to your own Manager. Having multiple masters is challenging and can be both frustrating and stressful. I’ll work with you on stress management, personnel issues and development, managing both up and down the organization.
In all three areas, my executive coaching uses the principles of Presence Based Coaching and bring somatic practices to help you find the answers you seek, using coaching as a guide and not a crutch. While there are plenty of “best practices,” every situation and person is unique. Our goal is to find the best strategies for you, and that comes from within.
